Camera placement optimization for CCTV in rail transit using BIM

چکیده

In an environment where completely automated lines are gaining popularity, station service employees declining yearly while passenger volume increases. many cities, the need for video surveillance with “complete coverage without dead ends” has been high. The traditional layout scheme based on design experience estimates often results in large blind spots and low efficiency monitoring. order to solve this problem, BIM technology, work develops a quantified camera optimization approach employing improved genetic algorithm. plan includes three modules: data extraction, which extracts spatial information of functional area from model generate image; module, adopts algorithm uses pixel coordinates provided by image realize pre-deployment; visualization designs simulation plug-in through secondary development simulates verifies pre-deployment, provides solutions. approach’s effectiveness was confirmed verifying deployment at platform level. optimal solution’s is 27.2% better than experience-based layout.

Urban Rail Transit System Operation Optimization A Game Theoretical Methodology

The Urban Rail Transit (URT) has been one of the major trip modes in cities worldwide. As the passengers arrive at variable rates in different time slots, e.g., rush and non-rush hours, the departure frequency at a site directly relates to perceived service quality of passengers; the high departure frequency, however, incurs more operation cost to URT. Therefore, a tradeoff between the interest...

Evaluating Rail Transit Criticism

This report evaluates criticism of rail transit systems. It examines claims that rail transit is ineffective at increasing public transit ridership and improving transportation system performance, that rail transit investments are not cost effective, and that transit is an outdated form of transportation. It finds that critics often misrepresent issues and use biased and inaccurate analysis. Th...

Modelling Pedestrian Circulation in Rail Transit Stations Using Micro-Simulation

Rail transit with its high passenger capacity and high efficiency has become one of the preferred alternatives to automobile travel. This is evident in the increasing patronage of rail travel especially in urban areas. As a result, many railway stations experience high levels of pedestrian congestion especially during the morning and afternoon peak periods. Traditional design and evaluation pro...

The Optimization Model and Algorithm for Train Connection at Transfer Stations in Urban Rail Transit Network

In urban rail transit network, the passenger transfer time depends on the train connection states in transfer stations, so the optimization of the connection relations of arrival and departure time among trains is significant to improve the level of transfer service. Here, with the psychology of waiting passengers taken into consideration, the cost function of transfer waiting times has been es...
